I'm sick,
At least I think so,
I've caught it so bad,
It's got me head over toe,

I'd never believe,
Such a thing'd happen to me,
Or that anyone else,
Would have the same experience,

I believed this Pain,
Or Joy,
Or Confusion,
Or Relief,
Or Fear,
Or Awe,
Would never touch me,

I guess,
Though,
That no one,
Not one single person,
Not even me,
Is immune,
To this humane disease,
